Meet Dr. Ron

Dr. Ron is a board-eligible endodontist who graduated with academic distinction from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2017. He completed prestigious externships at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, working alongside nationally recognized endodontic faculty, before returning to WVU to complete his post-graduate residency in endodontics and earn a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2019.

Before settling in Tucson in 2021, Dr. Malakpour built his clinical expertise in private practice and general practice settings across West Virginia and Minnesota. That range of experience gave him a broad perspective on patient care and a deep appreciation for what referring dentists need from a specialist.

His published research, "Assessment of Fracture Resistance of Maxillary First Molars after Root Canal Preparation Using Three Different Rotary Instruments," reflects his ongoing commitment to the science behind the care he provides.
